Greetings Brethren:

At our September meeting it was a great to see the Past Masters of Jerusalem perform the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason. Under the guidance of W.Bro. Bill Paterson and including the best Past Masters any Worshipful Master could have, I thank you.

Congratulations to Bro. John Davidson on being raised to a Master Mason. You were very well prepared, and with family and brethren from Owen Sound in attendance, added greatly to the evening. I wish you well as you proceed on your Masonic journey and with Jerusalem Lodge in particular.

Our October meeting being Step-Up Night, our Senior Warden, Bro. Donald Page and team of aspiring Officers will be raising Bro. Steven Harris to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason. I hope that as many brethren will attend as possible as these men are the future of Jerusalem Lodge and deserving of our support.

We will be having an open house on Saturday October 14th during the fall Applefest in Bowmanville. All are welcome, bring a friend.

The Emergent Meeting on Saturday October 21st has been changed to a double Initiation for our two candidates. It will be preceded with a pancake breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and Lodge opens at 9:00 a.m.

I have been informed that the Terry Fox Run was better then expected and should exceed last years efforts. Special thanks goes to V.W.Bro. Jack Hartwell and his supporters on a job well done. On behalf of Jerusalem Lodge I thank-you and your team of great runners, walkers and sponsors.

On that note, the youth sport teams in baseball and soccer Jerusalem Lodge Brethren have supported have done well this year, and I hear we may support a hockey team as well... stay tuned.

I hope to see you all at the October meetings, may the G.A.O.T.U. be with you always.
