Brethren:

Another month and another pair of Degrees performed. The Regular Meeting had Bro. Michael Joseph Naugle and the Emergent Meeting found Bro. Andrew Lyng both Raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason. We all enjoyed a Pancake Breakfast by W.Bro. Denny & his crew of Gourmet Chefs. Both of our candidates showed excellent preparation; kudos’ to: the Mentors Program, Sponsors & Brethren who helped the Brothers get ready. Thank You to everyone who participated.

This month is our bi-annual Fraternal Visit from W. J. Dunlop No.675. W.M. Derick A. Holyoake’s Degree Team will be Passing our own Bro. Donald Patrick Gauvreau to the 2^nd Degree. This will be an excellent opportunity for fellowship with our Brethren from Peterborough. Let’s show them our best Jerusalem hospitality.

We have been given approval to host a “Masoni-CH.I.P. Clinic” in Bowmanville on June 28^th; the day of the 150^th Anniversary Parade. For those of you who have not heard of this yet; Masons in several States & Provinces have been offering, Free of Charge, a package to help recover children who go missing. This state of the art package includes: Samples of DNA, Byte Plates, Pictures, & even a short Movie recorded on a CD. The package makes it possible to activate an Amber Alert much faster than without such a package. We are looking for volunteers to man the stations during this clinic; so if you have a few hours to spare, let me know, and I’m sure I can find something for you to do.
