My Brethren:
The grasp of winters chill has left its' affects on us; however it did not deter many brethren from attending our February meeting! I did hear from Secretary W. Bro. Craig Elliott who managed to miss the cold front by spending his time last week in Jamaica. On many occasions he informs that he raised a glass in remembrance of his cold brethren in the north! W. Bro. Craig Elliott I am glad your trip went well and that you arrived home safely! Many thanks to W. Bro. Chris Mueller, who assumed the office of Secretary in your absence.
The work of our February meeting saw the initiation of Bro. Sean Christopher Howard into Masonry. I had the pleasure of meeting Bro. Howard at one of our open house events and later seeing him participate in the Friend to Friend program held at Jerusalem Lodge. Should this be an indication of your commitment to the Craft, we our truly blessed to have you as our newest member and will watch in enjoyment as you progress in Masonry.
Here we grow again brethren! It was a pleasure to receive 3 new applications for initiation during our February meeting. Under our new operating mandate, I will be contacting some of the brethren to form the investigating committees to oversee the new applicants.
As everyone knows March is our Official Visit that we welcome our D.D.G.M. R.W.Bro. Robert E. Jones and our District Secretary W. Bro. Oswald Mathurin. Not only will this be a home coming but should prove to be a fun night. The work of the evening will be a Second Degree performed on Bro. John Spink. Ensure you make plans to attend brethren as this event is quite popular!
Remember Brethren, visitation is the life source of our Craft and there is a direct correlation to the benefits received by the efforts put forth. The events in the remainder of February and the month of March are bountiful, do your best to attend any number of the District Events and Official Visits.
To our shut-in brethren, may the G.A.O.T.U. hold you and protect you within his loving hands.
Sincerely and Fraternally, W. Bro. Donald E. Page
